Blackwoods 12 Days of Christmas 2025 Terms & Conditions

The promoter of this promotion is J. Blackwood & Son Pty Ltd (ABN 43 000 010 300) of Level 6, 26 Talavera Road, Macquarie Park NSW 2113 ("Promoter").

1. This promotion is known as the 12 Days of Christmas Competition 2025 ("Promotion").
2. Entry to the Promotion is open to Australian residents 18 years of age or over in all eligible States and Territories.
3. Information on how to enter this Promotion and the prizes form part of these terms and conditions. Entry into this Promotion is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
4. Officers, management and employees (and their immediate family members) of the Promoter, companies associated with the Promoter and their associated agencies are not eligible to enter. For the purposes of this Promotion, "immediate family members" include spouse, de facto spouse, parent, and natural, adopted or stepchild or sibling, whether or not they live in the same household as the employee. 
5. The Promotion commences at 10:00am Australian Eastern Daylight Savings Time (AEDT) on 3 December 2025 and ends at 10:00am AEDT on 19 December 2025 ("Promotion Period").
6. Entry periods for the twelve (12) individual prizes available in the Promotion and which are described in more detail in Section 11 are as follows:

• Entry for the first prize will be open from 10:00am AEDT on 3/12/2025 and will close at 9:59am AEDT on 4/12/2025.
• Entry for the second prize will be open from 10:00am AEDT on 4/12/2025 and will close at 9:59am AEDT on 5/12/2025.
• Entry for the third prize will be open from 10:00am AEDT on 5/12/2025 and will close at 9:59am AEDT on 8/12/2025.
• Entry for the fourth prize will be open from 10:00am AEDT on 8/12/2025 and will close at 9:59am AEDT on 9/12/2025.
• Entry for the fifth prize will be open from 10:00am AEDT on 9/12/2025 and will close at 9:59am AEDT on 10/12/2025.
• Entry for the sixth prize will be open from 10:00am AEDT on 10/12/2025 and will close at 9:59am AEDT on 11/12/2025.
• Entry for the seventh prize will be open from 10:00am AEDT on 11/12/2025 and will close at 9:59am AEDT on 12/12/2025.
• Entry for the eighth prize will be open from 10:00am AEDT on 12/12/2025 and will close at 9:59am AEDT on 15/12/2025.
• Entry for the ninth prize will be open from 10:00am AEDT on 15/12/2025 and will close at 9:59am AEDT on 16/12/2025.
• Entry for the tenth prize will be open from 10:00am AEDT on 16/12/2025 and will close at 9:59am AEDT on 17/12/2025.
• Entry for the eleventh prize will be open from 10:00am AEDT on 17/12/2025 and will close at 9:59am AEDT on 18/12/2025.
• Entry for the twelfth and final prize will be open from 10:00am AEDT on 18/12/2025 and will close at 9:59am AEDT on 19/12/2025.

7. To be eligible to enter the Promotion, an entrant must, during the Promotion Period, complete the Entry Form associated with each individual prize, during the time period described in Section 6 above. Entry forms are published on the Promoter’s website accessible at the following URL https://info.blackwoods.com.au/12-days-of-christmas (each an “Entry Form”).
8. An entrant will be awarded one (1) entry into the Promotion by completing and submitting the corresponding Entry Form and must, at the time of entry and, for the remainder of the Promotion Period, be subscribed to the Promoter’s customer email list, (together the “Terms of Entry”). All entrants are eligible to win the major prizes on day 11 and day 12. By submitting an entry form on any of days 1-11, an entrant is automatically entered into the prize draw for prizes 11 and 12.
9. The Promoter takes no responsibility for lost, late, incomplete, unsuccessful or misdirected entries. The Promoter has no control over telecommunications networks and accepts no responsibility for any issues arising from their use. Entries will be deemed received by the Promoter at the time of receipt in the Promoter’s database, not at the time of transmission
10. The form of any identification, authorisation or release required by the Promoter before any prize is awarded is at the discretion of the Promoter. To the extent permitted by law, failure by the entrant to provide such proof of identification, authorisation or release will immediately invalidate a prize winner’s entitlement to a prize. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion to determine the identity of the entrant.
11. There are twelve (12) prizes available in this Promotion as set out in the table below. The prizes will be awarded to twelve (12) individual prize winners, selected at random from all valid entries within the Promotion Period.

 The total prize pool is valued at AUD $14,268 (inclusive of GST).

12. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the value of a prize. A Prize is not transferable or exchangeable, nor redeemable for cash or kind and must be taken as awarded. In the event a prize is not available, the Promoter reserves the right in its absolute discretion to substitute a prize of equal or greater value, subject to the written directions of any relevant authority.
13. Prize winners will be drawn and announced as per the dates below:

14. The location of the draw is Level 6, 26 Talavera Road, Macquarie Park NSW 2113.
15. In consideration for awarding the relevant prize to the winner, acceptance of the prize constitutes agreement by the winner to allow the use of the winner's name, image, voice and/or likeness by the Promoter for editorial, advertising, promotional, marketing and/or other purposes without further compensation, except where prohibited by law.
16. Prize winners will be directly notified immediately after the prize draw. The prize winners will be contacted via email and will be asked to confirm their eligibility and delivery address. The winners will be sent a reminder email every week until they have confirmed their eligibility and delivery address. In accordance with Section 19, prizes that are unclaimed or unable to be accepted by 11.59am AEDT on 25 February 2026 will be subject to a second chance draw. The winners (including last name, first initial and postcode) will be published within 30 days of the drawing on https://info.blackwoods.com.au/12-days-of-christmas after they have confirmed their prize eligibility.
17. The prize will be sent directly to the registered address of the prize winner as provided to the Promoter. The Promoter makes no representations or warranties as to the timeliness or successful delivery of the prize to the prize winner.
18. All decisions and actions of the Promoter will be exercised according to its reasonable discretion. To claim the prize, the prize winner must confirm receipt of notification from the Promoter under Section 16 by 11.59am AEDT on 25 February 2026. If the prize winner does not respond by 11.59am AEDT on 25 February 2026, his or her entitlement to the prize will be forfeited. If the prize is unclaimed or unable to be accepted by 11.59am AEDT on 25 February 2026, a second chance prize winner will be selected at random from all valid entries within the Promotion Period on 25 February 2026 at 12.00pm AEDT. The location of the second chance prize draw is Level 6, 26 Talavera Road, Macquarie Park NSW 2113.
19. The second chance prize winner(s) will be directly notified. The second chance prize winner(s) will be contacted via email and will be asked to confirm their eligibility and delivery address. The second chance prize winner(s) will be sent a reminder email every week until they have confirmed their eligibility and delivery address. The second chance prize winner(s) (including last name, first initial and postcode) will be published within 30 days of the drawing on https://info.blackwoods.com.au/12-days-of-christmas after they have confirmed their prize eligibility. To claim the prize, the second chance prize winner(s) must confirm receipt of notification from the Promoter provided under this Section 20 by 11.59am AEDT on 26 March 2026. If the second chance prize winner(s) do not respond by 12.00pm AEDT on 26 March 2026, his or her entitlement to the prize will be forfeited. The Promoter has the sole discretion to determine the final prize winner and may repeat the process set out in this Section 20 until the prize is finally awarded.
20. The Promoter's decision is final. No further correspondence will be entered into.
21. The Promoter respects the policies of its customers which may forbid the acceptance of awards, prizes or incentives by their employees in connection with their business or which require the business to determine the terms on which such awards, prizes or incentives may be offered in connection with their business. Accordingly, the prize is not a personal incentive, and where the Promoter is aware that a winning entrant is an employee of a customer organisation of the Promoter, the Promoter may in its absolute discretion award the prize to the relevant customer organisation in place of the employee. In these circumstances, allocation of the prize to any person within the customer organisation is to be determined by the relevant customer organisation that has been awarded the prize (or its relevant authorised officer). Alternatively, the Promoter may require a prize winner to provide signed authorisation from an authorised officer of its employer confirming permission for the prize winner to accept the prize. The Promoter may provide to a customer organisation, personal information about any of that customer organisation's employees who enter the Promotion.
22. The Promoter has the right to withhold the provision of the prize where the Promoter is aware or reasonably suspects that the provision of the prize would, or may be, in breach of any conduct or compliance policy of the Promoter, its related bodies corporate, or any third party (including the Promoter’s customers) or any applicable laws. If the Promoter suspects fraud or misconduct, the prize may be withheld or withdrawn in the Promoter’s reasonable discretion.
23. The Promoter reserves the right in its reasonable discretion to determine the validity of all entries and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or the conduct of the Promotion, who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these terms and conditions or who has, in the reasonable opinion of the Promoter, engaged in conduct in entering the Promotion which is fraudulent, misleading, deceptive or generally damaging to the goodwill or reputation of the Promotion and/or the Promoter.
24. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter makes no representations or warranties as to the quality, suitability or merchantability of any of the goods and services offered or taken as the prize. The Promoter and its related bodies corporate, employees and agents shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever (including, but not limited to direct, indirect or consequential loss) suffered as a result of any personal injury or property damage or loss suffered or sustained as a result of entering the Promotion or taking or using the prize, except for liability which cannot be excluded by law.
25. There may be taxation consequences arising from this Promotion. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from an entrant winning a prize. The Promoter advises entrants to obtain independent financial advice prior to accepting the prize.
26. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter reserves the right to withdraw or amend the Promotion as necessary due to circumstances outside its reasonable control or if required by a relevant regulatory authority.
27. The Promoter collects information about the entrants (“you” or “your”) to conduct the Promotion and, where appropriate, to award prizes, and may also use the information to assist in improving its goods and services and to contact you in the future with special offers. The Promoter may share your information with its Australian related companies. By entering this Promotion, each entrant agrees that the Promoter may disclose the entrant's personal information if required by law and may publish, or cause to be published, the winners' names and postcode in media. Your personal data is collected and held in accordance with the terms of the Promoter's privacy collection statement and privacy policy which can be found on its website at com.au/privacy-policy. To request access to the personal information that the Promoter holds on you or to remove your information from the Promoter's records, please write to the Privacy Officer at privacy@blackwoods.com.au with your request.

29. If for any reason any aspect of this Promotion is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of computer virus, communications network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failure or any cause beyond the control of the Promoter, the Promoter may in its reasonable discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion and invalidate any affected entries, or suspend or modify a prize, subject to applicable laws.
